Fall Guide to the Reno Theater Scene

August 17, 2022

When you think of Broadway, Reno is literally the last thing that would ever come to someone's mind. Although Reno is small, we have some powerful pull when it comes to performing arts.

Jeffrey and Caruso started the Theater, the masterminds behind Magique, Broadway comes to Reno every year, and in the summertime, we have Shakespear on the Lake. Our local theaters will have you covered no matter what you are looking for.

Let's dive into what is going on for the fall season in Reno.

The Theater

As the newest performing arts venue, The Theater took over the Keystone Cinema and is now the home of Magique by Jeffrey and Caruso. This is a fantastic show if you have not seen it!

Pioneer Center of Performing Arts

Centrally located in Downtown Reno, the Pioneer Center hosts some of the best Broadway, and plays in our town. You may purchase a season pass to all 5 broadway shows, or you can buy individual tickets. For the 22-23 season, we will see Hairspray, Dear Evan Hansen, Ain't Too Proud, Come From Away, and Anastasia.

Reno Little Theater

Reno Little Theater is home to 126 seats and 56 seasons of performing arts. Located at 147 E. Pueblo Street, the Reno Little Theater's mission is to create exceptional theatrical experiences that inspire, entertain,

and strengthen our community through artistic engagement and collaboration.

They have some beautiful plays and currently have Into The Woods as their main show.
