September Events in Reno
September is one of the busiest months when it comes to events in Reno/Tahoe.
Ribs, Balloons, Airplanes, and Motorcycles take over the sky and streets of Reno.
Start planning your September now since every weekend has something going on.
The Great Reno Balloon Races
This is one of our favorite events as a family. Last year we took Sloan for the first time, and seeing her face light up when the balloons took the sky was amazing. For all tips and tricks on going to the Reno Balloon Races, head over to ---> for an in-depth breakdown.
The Nugget Rib Cook-off
For over 30 years, the Rib cook-off has taken over Victorian Square in Downtown Sparks. Over Labor Day weekend, two dozen of the Country's best BBQ teams make their way to the west to earn bragging rights and a $20,000 prize.
Street Vibrations
Motorcycles EVERYWHERE! Over 50,000 motorcycles make their way to Reno/Sparks and Virginia City for the annual Street Vibrations Fall Rally.
We loved riding our motorcycles and will never forget not every rider is the same. Keep an eye out for those around you and double-check over your shoulder before changing lanes.
The Reno Air Races
You will feel the engines roaring as they fly over 500 mph around the course. This event is one for the books.
