Paint the front door

Opt for a classic color for a timeless look if you're thinking of putting your house on the market anytime soon. A black front door can be striking if it goes with the look of the home. Keep in mind if you live in an HOA, you may have to get your front door color approved before you get ahead of yourself.

Add Fall Flowers

Add flowers and plants to spruce up the front stoop. Mums come in a variety of colors, and you can go bold or moody. Sunflowers also make a beautiful fall accent and make a good first impression. Even though they are not alive, adding hay or straw barrels and corn stalk will bring the pumpkin patch right to your porch.

Spicy up Your Doormat

It's the perfect time of year to pick a seasonal doormat like "Hey Boo" if you want to have fun with it. Layer it on top of a buffalo plaid mat for added style. The black and white buffalo is perfect to transition from fall to winter.

Fresh Mulch

Lay down fresh mulch to make your yard pop. Fresh mulch helps everything look pulled together and well cared for. Pull any weeds before you lay it down.

The Small Accents

It's time for the accents. Make your entryway "instagramable" by adding a fall wreath, lanterns with candles, or brand new home numbers for a complete front porch refresh.
